We see here a bright but small inner ring (Main Ring) and two less bright but large outer rings (Gossamer Rings). These rings own their existence to the impact of meteorites on the four little (low gravity) moons Thebe, Amalthea, Adrastea and Metis. The rings exist out of dust from the moons, that was thrown into space during the impact of meteorites.
