The programme is made for a modern MS DOS-computer with VGA-card and color monitor and
works also in Windows 95 and 3x.. Go to the OUT BASKET for
downloading planet.zip in the Public Folder. Follow the instructions there.
You will have downloaded a "zip" compressed archive named planet.zip. Create a directory for Planetarium (for example C:\PLANET and extract the files from the archive into it with PKUNZIP or a compatible extractor program. If you're using PKUNZIP from the MS-DOS prompt, you might install Planetarium with the commands:
MKDIR C:\PLANET
CD C:\PLANET
PKUNZIP PLANET.ZIP
Once Planetarium is installed, you can launch the application simply by typing START from the MS-DOS prompt while in its directory, or by using the Run item on the Start menu and entering C:\PLANET\START as the program name. Obviously, if you used a different drive or directory name instead of "C:\PLANET", you would enter that name. For convenience, create a shortcut icon that points to Planetarium, and you'll be able to launch Planetarium simply by double clicking it.
