WIND DIRECTION
AND SPECIFIC WEATHER
THE SOURCES OF THE DE WIND FOR COUNTRIES AROUND THE NORTH SEA
When the wind blows constantly from a certain direction, then air is brought forward,
which comes from the same source area.
With west wind this air is originating from sea (maritime) and with east wind air is
originating from land (continental).
West wind contains much water vapor and always conducts clouds. East wind is dry and
generally without clouds.
Likewise north wind brings cold air and south wind warm air.
On the base of the wind direction we can expect a certain kind of
weather, as long as the wind is coming from this direction.
However, when the wind is variable, we mostly get another kind of weather.
