 About my life   There is a time for
everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to
die, a time to plant and a time to uproot .. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2).

I was born in 1944 in the Netherlands, when worldwar
II was raging over our planet. More than a year later we were freed from the Nazi's by the
brave Canadian solders under command of general Harry Crerar. Many
died, I saw the fields of white crosses.
As kid I heard the terrible stories from my older family members, telling about the war.
Maybe I tell you later more about that.

As young child I was curious about the wonders of our world,
with his beautiful flowers, little and big animals, all kinds of people, ever changing
clouds and twinkling stars.
As a student I had the opportunity to study the mysteries of space and time. I still have
a great admiration for the great thinkers of mankind, from Aristoteles to Einstein.
Wonders will never cease; live and learn.

| Teacher and Educator

I started my working career as science teacher at a
highschool and later as instructor and educator at teacher training college of the CHN University.
Then I worked at a science center as staffmember education for the CHN. Our aim was to
promote a positive attitude to technology for children and parents, students and teachers,
and other educators.Since February 2005 I retreated from my work to
spend more time for my divers hobbies, children and grandchildren.
